Project Description

Builder: Gerry Scalzo

Architect: Don Rasmussen

The Germano Residence went through a complete interior design and remodel of the main floor plan. The interior design concept was to open up the entertaining areas of the home with modern clean lines and to soften the hard edges with warm traditional finishes. The interior remodel consisted of removing some interior walls and re-supporting the existing roof structure with stained glue-laminated beams. The Kitchen, Living and Dining rooms are all open to each other for better light and circulation. Materials used were rift-cut oak cabinets and floors, sea-foam green granite, stainless steel, painted steel, glass guardrail, and lots of ceramic and glass tile. The Master Suite was redone and Master Bath enlarged with a one-piece acrylic free-standing soaking tub.
